CHALLENGING CLINICAL CASES
Please note: Due to a delay in the selection process, all case dispositions will now be sent out by 1 August 2025.
The reviewers will judge the cases according to the scientific or clinical value, relevance to the conference, suitability of methods to aims, conclusions confirmed by objective results, objectivity of statements, description of methods used, ethics, originality of work, standard of English and overall impression.
Upon completion of the evaluation of submitted cases, a notification email will be sent to authors. Accepted cases will be presented as posters or oral presentations at the conference. Upon acceptance of an author’s submission, the following instructions are applicable:
The presenting author of the presentation should confirm their attendance upon receiving the acceptance email within two weeks.
Accepted authors will receive a discount on registration that will be shared and sent in the acceptance letter.
Authors who confirm presence will receive a free unique communication code based on their category of submission up to 10 days before the conference. This code shall be the reference to your science throughout the conference.
If you need to withdraw your case, a written statement listing the reasons for this decision must be sent to Ashley Truluck at atruluck@acc.org by no later than Wednesday, 3 September, 2025.
The submitting author must verify that all co-authors have read and approved the submission of the case.
It is the intent of the conference to provide high quality sessions focused on educational content that is free from commercial influence or bias.
A disclosure form identifying commercial relationships or conflict of interest for all co-authors must be completed by the submitting author, if their case has been accepted for publication. The submitting author signs and verifies disclosure on behalf of all co-authors. Disclosure information for accepted cases will be made available to the conference attendees.
