Call for Abstracts
You are invited to submit abstracts for the ACC ECS 2025
Deadline: June 10, 2025
Submit your abstract to ACC Middle East 2025 Together With 16th Emirates Cardiac Society Conference and you could get the chance to present it at ACC.26 in New Orleans, LA! The top three abstract winners will receive a travel scholarship to assist with expenses to present at ACC.26.

- Abstracts and cases are not eligible for consideration if they have been presented at any major conference or published previously (whether in print or electronically).
- Only submitters who are under 40 years old and currently reside in the Middle East and North Africa region are eligible to win the travel scholarship to ACC.26/WCC.
- The submitting author acts on behalf of all co-authors and in submitting an abstract, transfers to the American College of Cardiology the copyright and all other rights in the material comprising the submission if the abstract is accepted. Co-authors reserve the following: a) all proprietary rights other than copyright, such as patent rights; and b) the right to use all or part of the abstract in future works of their own. The American College of Cardiology, as holder of the copyright on the accepted abstract, reserves all rights of reproduction, distribution, performance, display, and the right to create derivative works in both print and digital formats.
It is the intent of the conference to provide high quality sessions focused on educational content that is free from commercial influence or bias.
A disclosure form identifying commercial relationships or conflict of interest for all co-authors must be completed by the submitting author, if their abstract has been accepted for publication. The submitting author signs and verifies disclosure on behalf of all co-authors. Disclosure information for accepted abstracts will be made available to the conference attendees.
The reviewers will judge the abstracts according to the scientific or clinical value, relevance to the conference, suitability of methods to aims, conclusions confirmed by objective results, objectivity of statements, description of methods used, ethics, originality of work, standard of English and overall impression.
Upon completion of the evaluation of submitted abstracts, a notification email will be sent to authors. Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters or oral presentations at the conference. Upon acceptance of an author’s submission, the following instructions below are applicable:
- The presenting author of the presentation should confirm their attendance upon receiving the acceptance email within two weeks.
- Accepted authors will receive a discount on registration that will be shared and sent in the acceptance letter.
- Authors who confirm presence will receive a free unique communication code based on their category of submission up to 10 days before the conference. This code shall be the reference to your science throughout the conference.
- If you need to withdraw your abstract, a written statement listing the reasons for this decision must be sent to Ashley Truluck at atruluck@acc.org by no later than Wednesday, 3 September, 2025.
- The submitting author must verify that all co-authors have read and approved the submission of the abstract.

The reviewers will judge the abstracts according to the scientific or clinical value, relevance to the conference, suitability of methods to aims, conclusions confirmed by objective results, objectivity of statements, description of methods used, ethics, originality of work, standard of English and overall impression.
Upon completion of the evaluation of submitted abstracts, an ‘Accepted’ or ‘Rejected’ email will be sent to authors. Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters at the conference. Upon acceptance of an author’s submission, the following instructions below are applicable:
- The presenting author of the presentation should confirm their attendance upon receiving the acceptance email within one week.
- Accepted authors will receive one complimentary registration pass that will be assigned and sent up to 10 days prior to the conference.
- Authors who confirm presence will receive a free unique communication code based on their category of submission up to 10 days before the conference. This code shall be the reference to your science throughout the conference.
- If you need to withdraw your abstract, a written statement listing the reasons for this decision must be sent to Robin Young at ryoung@acc.org by no later than Thursday, 1 September, 2022.
1ePosters are electronic posters that will be hosted on the conference website and organized by scientific category with sequential ePoster codes while showing the main author contact in case of any questions from attendees. ePosters are accessible by attendees through the mobile app and by scanning QR codes to the portal that will be placed during the event. There are no time slots for ePoster presenting.
- The same abstract and title submission indicated in this email need to be used during the conference and not another topic can fill your currently accepted slot.
- Oral presentations will be for a maximum of 8 minutes with 2 minutes for questions/comments.
- Oral presenters need to send their power point presentation 6 days prior to the conference to nchahwan@lumina.ae with Subject: ECS2025-Presentation-OCX.X example: ECS2025-Presentation-OC2.2
- Presenting authors should be present at their designated hall 15 minutes before the start of the session in which they will present to ensure enough time to mount their presentations for electronic projection.
- All presentations should be made available in Microsoft Office Power point in a flash USB disk drive or CD. Speakers may not use your own laptop nor use a MAC version. Please ensure the presentation available in duplicate media to prevent bad surprises on the day.
- Presenting authors should be present at their designated hall 15 minutes before the start of the session in which they will present to ensure enough time to mount their presentations for electronic projection in case they do not send it beforehand.
